Effective immediately, compost fines will not affect buildings under 30 units in New York City, according to the mayor’s office. Buildings with more than 30 units that have received more than four warnings from the sanitation department will still be fined $100 for not composting, according to the mayor’s office.

BELIZE (PIX11) – A man allegedly hijacked a small airplane in Belize and stabbed three people on board before he was shot and killed Thursday morning, police said. Belize Police Commissioner Chester Williams identified the plane hijacking suspect as Akinyela Taylor, a United States national, as first reported by Belizean media outlets. Taylor allegedly hijacked a Tropic Air flight from Corozal to San Pedro with 14 people on board, authorities said.
