A photo of Marcus Perez, the outgoing administrator of the Office of Professional Standards, was recently seen posted behind the security desk at Cleveland City Hall. That photo told security workers that Perez, who is on administrative leave, is not allowed back into parts of city buildings that aren’t open to the general public without an appointment. A spokesman for the city said the restriction is routine practice for employees on administrative leave.

During the next citywide election, more than 70,000 registered voters in Cleveland may have to find their way to a new polling location. National political reporters the moment Biden spoke. https://t.co/fKxqwc1SVu

This is truly wild. The Washington Post and New York Times both have the Biden gaffe as their top stories (the NYT has *two* stories about it on their home page) and not a single mention of Johnson saying they’ll repeal the ACA or a Trump official saying they’ll pull vaccines. https://t.co/d9B3kW5cov

I suspect that over-reliance on jargon and assumptions about how much people remember from middle-school civics class make most political reporting feel inaccessible to a lot of people. Here’s a small attempt to help. What should we add? https://t.co/e1Q3Euqq7U
