BELLOWS FALLS — All ages (over 18, of course) were decked in "Alice in Wonderland" costumes at the Queen of Hearts Drag Ball on Saturday. The first drag show sponsored by Bellows Falls Pride, held at the Moose Lodge, was a celebration of confidence, acceptance and self-love. Drag performers from around Vermont took to the stage — and the room — in a variety of fun, flattering getups that reached beyond the confines of gender. Performers did lip sync numbers to upbeat, empowering songs.

BRATTLEBORO — If the cold and the crowds aren’t your thing, you can watch the Harris Hill Ski Jump from anywhere, like you would the Winter Olympics. Brattleboro Community Television sends out a live broadcast of the popular ski jump event, from the opening ceremony through the awards. Multiple cameras catch each jumper from the descent down the hill to flying off the jump, right through to the “landing slap,” as production manager Nolan Edgar calls it.
