(WANE) – Bishop Dwegnger rising senior Andrew Trahin recently committed to play college football at Eastern Michigan University, and WANE-TV caught up with the 6-foot-5, 290-pound offensive lineman about his decision at the OPS 7-on-7 Shootout. Trahin picked EMU over offers from Toledo, Western Michigan, Kent State, and Bowling Green. He was named to the IFCA’s 4A Junior All-State team in 2024 as an offensive lineman while also contributing on the defensive line for the Saints.

(WANE) – Despite a late weather delay of three and a half hours that came with just a handful of golfers still on the course, Homestead persevered through the precipitation, finishing as state runner-up to Westfield on Wednesday following the second and final round of the IHSAA boys state tournament. Westfield shot a -8 (568) to win the team title, with Homestead at +22 (598). Noblesville (+24), Zionsville (+25), and Evansville North (+31) rounded out the top five teams.
