HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT)- Hopkins County Schools announced that class will be in session on a regular schedule for today, however due to ongoing flooding in parts of the county several roads remain inaccessible to school buses. Officials say when a bus encounters flooding on a roadway there is often no place to safely turn the bus around, particularly on narrow or rural roads. For that reason school buses will avoid any section of roadways known to be closed or partially blocked by flood waters.
