PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - We are going to get a break from the rain Thursday, but we will still have a bit of a messy commute this morning. A Dense Fog Advisory is in place across much of the Mid-Ohio Valley until 10 a.m. this morning. Some spots across the region could look at reduced visibility down to a quarter of a mile. Make sure to take extra time getting to work or school this morning. Leave extra space between you and the car around you.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The soggy weather will remain the theme of this week’s forecast. Wednesday will not see as much rain compared to Tuesday, but the day is still going to be damp. There is some dry weather expected for Thursday, but this is only going to be briefly. It is great to get some rain to help out the crops and our personal gardens, but we do want a good period of dry and warm weather to enjoy. That will be on the way soon.

Light showers will be possible Tuesday morning for the commute to work, but it will overall be cloudy.

This is not going to be the case as we move into Tuesday and Wednesday as rain returns to the Mid-Ohio Valley. In fact, Tuesday will be a First Alert Weather Day due to the potential for some heavy rain that could lead to localized flooding.
