PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Unsettled weather is going to remain across the Mid-Ohio Valley for the start of the week as an area of low pressure lingers around the region. This will provide more scattered showers and storms for Monday and Tuesday. Small hail and gusty winds could accompany some of those storms. Afterwards, the second half of the week will return to quiet weather. Monday’s morning commute will start off with a few areas of patchy fog.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - Another chance for strong to severe thunderstorms will be around the Mid-Ohio Valley today. Thunderstorm activity today will be on the scattered side and not widespread compared to what Ohio and Pennsylvania saw on Tuesday. Still, it is going to be important to stay weather aware for the threat of spotty damaging winds and large hail. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. The time frame is going to be from 1 p.m. this afternoon to 8 p.m. this evening.
