PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The stretch of stormy weather continues across the Mid-Ohio Valley today. However, it is going to be the last day before we enter a stretch of quiet weather for the rest of the week. To get to return to this upcoming stretch of dry weather, we will need to deal with the chance for some strong to severe thunderstorms later in the afternoon. Monday is a First Alert Weather Day due to the threat of scattered severe thunderstorms and another chance for localized flooding.

PARKERSBURG, W.Va. (WTAP) - The hazy weather is going to remain across the Mid-Ohio Valley today as more smoke from the Canadian wildfires continue. We did not see any impacts to our air quality yesterday, but we could see a bit of a dip later today. This morning’s air quality remains in good standing, but some smoke may mix towards the surface late this afternoon. Air quality should not be heavily impacted, but for those with any health issues should stay aware.
