Forward Michael Salazar led The Los Angeles Force soccer team as they defeated Capo FC from San Juan Capistrano 2-0 with his fifth total goal of the season at Veterans Memorial Stadium on Saturday. The Force came out hot kicking the first few shots of the game adding a ton of pressure around the box. Multiple yellow cards were called against the Force with aggressive tackles being called within the 30th minute of the game.

Long Beach City College’s cheer team ended their season in Daytona Beach Florida for the second year in a row from April 11-13th where they placed fourth in the Intermediate Large Coed Junior College group. LBCC cheer prepared all season for one of the biggest competitions and utilizes practice and football games to be able to show off their skills and test their abilities.

As the Vikings head into their final games of the season, the baseball team and family members celebrate the sophomores as they move on to future endeavors next year. Caleb Brandon, Olin Snakenborg, Xander McLaurin and Luke Davis were named 2024 SCC All-Conference First Team, while Dylan Proost, Myles Dismute, AJ Quezada, Ryan Geck, Reef Danner, and Davis Grawey made the Second Team’s Selections. 17 Viking sophomores will be graduating this season and leaving the program.

Vikings baseball bulldoze through the playoffs, sealing their third consecutive victory with a commanding 9-2 triumph and a strong performance by Caleb Brandon over the Riverside Tigers on Thursday. Pitcher Dylan Proost started the game on the mound pitching six innings, allowing a total of six hits and two runs. In a display of offensive strength, the Vikings orchestrated a six-run fourth inning, propelling them toward their win on Cerritos College’s field .
