MILWAUKEE — For roughly a month, Milwaukee resident have woken up to find glass littered across their parking lots and sidewalks as the city endures a sharp increase in automobile break-ins. In front of City Hall on Friday afternoon, members of Milwaukee’s local government and law enforcement community laid out their response.

MILWAUKEE – In early August, the MPS School Board Recall Collaborative submitted a list of signatures in hopes to trigger recall elections for certain members of the Milwaukee Public Schools Board of Directors. On Thursday, the Milwaukee Election Commission released their finding that the Collaborative was thousands short on the required signatures, failing to recall the board members. The Election Commission’s data is listed below.

MILWAUKEE – A triple shooting injured three victims early Saturday morning in Milwaukee’s northwest side. At about 2:28 am near the intersection of N. 16th Street and W. Burleigh St, a group of three victims, ages 25, 21, and 18, were injured in a shooting. Authorities transported them to a hospital and they are expected to survive. Milwaukee Police have not confirmed what the circumstances leading up to the shooting were. Police are searching for unknown suspects.

Scott Farmer, 48, of Neenah pleaded no contest Wednesday to four counts of homicide by intoxicated use of a motor vehicle and one count of operating while intoxicated in the Dec. 16 crash, WLUK-TV reported. A judge set Farmer’s sentencing for Nov. 22. Police said Farmer was driving the wrong way on a highway when his truck crashed into an SUV in Weyauwega, about 100 miles (160 kilometers) northwest of Milwaukee.
