PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WMBB) – It’s a great day to be a Panhandle bookworm. On Wednesday, Pier Park North’s brand-new Barnes & Noble store held its grand opening. “We are so excited to be here at Panama City Beach,” store manager Adina Frybarger said. At the location’s inaugural day of business, local author Michael Lister cut the ceremonial ribbon and signed select titles. A New York Times bestseller, Lister has written over 45 novels, many of which take place in the Panhandle.
