ALLENTOWN, Pa. – City officials are proposing an upgraded "life safety and wellness center" to address significant challenges with the city's current fire, EMS, and health facilities. A feasibility study presented to Allentown City Council on Wednesday shows that first responders at the Central Fire Station and Health Bureau are due for a new home. POTTSTOWN, Pa. - Two Montgomery County paramedics are celebrating a milestone. "We actually share the same birthday," said John Bukey, a paramedic with Goodwill EMS. "A year apart," said Tom Snyder, a paramedic with Goodwill EMS. That is only part of what Bukey and Snyder have in common. The two paramedics are celebrating 50 years as first responders. "In 1974, I got a job at Pottstown Hospital in the operating room as an orderly and that's where it started my interest," said Bukey.

NAZARETH, Pa. - Potential buyers made their way through a North New Street home in Nazareth on Sunday. It is where Berkshire Hathaway Choice Properties associate broker Jill Koch held an open house. She said demand for Lehigh Valley homes is high. "I would say it's definitely a seller's market here and I'm thinking it still will be for a while," said Koch. Koch said interest rates are leveling right around seven. "And I don't know that they're going to go down.
