EASTON, Pa. – At an Easton Planning Commission meeting Wednesday night that spanned over six hours, a highly-debated warehouse project's land development plan was reviewed. The plan, known as Easton Commerce Park, would occupy the former 106.2-acre Pfizer Pigments site on Wood Avenue. The proposal, offered by Easton Wood Ave Propco and Scannell Properties, calls for a million-square-foot warehouse near the 13th Street and Route 22 intersection at 1525 Wood Ave.

SCHNECKSVILLE, Pa., – Lehigh Carbon Community College announced Wednesday a $199,700 Manufacturing PA Training-to-Career (MTTC) grant from the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, enabling the college to continue job training opportunities and increase workforce development. CATASAUQUA BORO., Pa. – Thanksgiving Day will bring another round of a tradition more than a century in the making. At its Tuesday night meeting, the Catasauqua Area school board voted to save a 101-year-old tradition — the Rough Riders' annual Thanksgiving football game against the Northampton Area Konkrete Kids. The decision was met with cheers, high fives and hugs from players who had rallied to save the game. Students had circulated a Change.org petition ahead of the vote.
