Monster Mini Golf, a glow-in-the-dark indoor minigolf experience, is coming to Southaven's Top of the Sipp development in early spring 2026. The new location will feature 18 holes of minigolf with spooky, glow-in-the-dark artwork, laser tag, an arcade and a cafe. This will be the second Monster Mini Golf in the area, joining the existing Cordova location. A new option for family fun is coming to Southaven.

The Republican side of the ballot is far from set for the June 3 general election in Horn Lake, with four races headed to runoffs after Tuesday's Republican primary. No candidate received more than 50% of the vote in every election where runoffs were possible — runoffs to decide these races will take place April 22. Most notable was the mayoral election, which seeks to nominate a new Republican candidate for the first time since 2013. Current Mayor Allen Latimer is not seeking reelection.

Kristoffer Kitchens won the Alderman Position 5 race in Hernando, defeating incumbent Beth Rone Ross. Mayor Chip Johnson ran unopposed and will retain his position. As no Democrats are running, the Republican primary and runoff winners will secure the seats. Hernando's at-large alderman race is headed to a runoff after none of the three candidates earned more than 50% of the vote in Tuesday's Republican primary.

Donald Gammage won the Republican primary for Olive Branch's Position 3 alderman with 65% of the vote. Incumbent Pat Hamilton secured another term as Position 2 alderman, winning with 84% of the vote. Gammage and Hamilton will be unopposed in the general election and begin their terms on July 1. Mayor Ken Adams and five other incumbent aldermen ran unopposed in the Republican primary and face no general election challengers.
