The Chick-fil-A on Union Avenue in Midtown Memphis will close temporarily for renovations starting May 29. The restaurant is expected to reopen sometime in September. Midtown residents craving some Chick-fil-A will have to drive a little farther to get some chicken —at least for a little while. The Chick-fil-A at 1980 Union Ave. will temporarily close May 29 for unspecified renovations. The company told The Commercial Appeal the restaurant may remain closed until September.

Genesis is a luxury brand owned by Hyundai, competing with brands like BMW and Mercedes-Benz. A new luxury car dealership is coming to the Wolfchase area in Memphis. Genesis of Wolfchase will open at 7695 U.S 64, next to the Wolfchase Hyundai dealership. Management could not be reached for additional comment on the project.
