    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police have arrested an employee of a local Planet Fitness after a gun was stolen from a locker. Court records state that 18-year-old Marquis Townsel has been charged with theft of property. Memphis Police responded to the Planet Fitness on Knight Arnold Road on May 21. A man reportedly told officers that his rifle had been stolen from his gym bag, which he had placed inside of a locker.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are looking for two men who walked into a Hickory Hill gas station carrying guns, stole several bags of Cheetos, and threatened a person who confronted them. When someone from the store followed the men outside, police say the men pointed their guns at him. They fled in a tan Hyundai SUV. The confrontation happened around 3 a.m. Wednesday at the Citgo station at 5935 Knight Arnold.

    MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two cars caught fire in the parking lot of an apartment complex on Bartlett Road Thursday morning. The Memphis Police Department is investigating the fire, which was reported at 5:37 a.m. near Biscoe Avenue. It is unclear what caused the fire, but the owner of one of the vehicles told WREG her car was allegedly set aflame by her ex-boyfriend, who she says has a history of violent behavior. The woman says she is now without a car for work and is trying to figure out her next steps.
