Virginia will lose another offensive tackle. Blake Steen will enter the 2025 college football transfer portal, per 247Sports' Chris Hummer. The South Florida native entered the portal on the first day of the spring window opening. Steen started 17 career games - playing guard and tackle for the Cavaliers. The 'Hoos will look to reinforce the tackle position after Steen's entry and Monroe Mills' season ending injury this spring.

Virginia women's basketball lands a big recruiting win from the transfer portal on Sunday evening. LSU forward Sa'Myah Smith announced her commitment to UVA on social media - making the decision after visiting the Cavaliers. Smith played in 36 games for the Tigers and was an SEC All-Freshman First Team Selection in the Tigers' national championship run two years ago. During that season she averaged 4.6 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks in 14.7 minutes per game.

UVA head coach Tony Elliott said Louisville transfer OT Monroe Mills is out for the season with an ACL injury. He adds that they are still evaluating CB Jam Jackson, after he hurt his knee during a scrimmage.
