The University of Wisconsin football program already has one wide receiver in its 2026 class, but the Badgers also have made an impression on a southwest Florida native. Jayden Petit, currently a consensus four-star recruit by the four major recruiting outlets, traveled to Wisconsin last weekend for an unofficial visit. “It went pretty well," Petit said.

History will repeat itself for the University of Wisconsin men’s basketball team during March Madness. Wisconsin (26-9), the No. 3 seed in the East region, will play No. 14-seed Montana (25-9) in Denver at 12:30 p.m. Thursday during the first round of the NCAA Tournament. The winner will face the victor of the matchup between No. 6 BYU and No. 11 VCU on Saturday. The last time the two programs faced was March 15, 2012, in another NCAA Tournament first-round matchup.
