[UPDATE]ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) -- Police in Onalaska are releasing more details about a shots-fired incident on Braund Street Sunday. According to police, they responded to 558 Braund Street at 7:44 a.m. on a shots-fire call. The caller told police they heard an argument outside in the parking lot before hearing the gunfire. Responding police arrived to find a man, later identified as 54-year-old Kevin McDowell, acting erratically. He was taken into custody without incident, police said.

ONALASKA, Wis. (WKBT) -- At least three shots were fired at an apartment complex early Sunday morning in Onalaska. According to a neighbor, one round hit a garage and two others struck a vehicle. Onalaska Police say there is no active threat to the public and gave no word whether anyone was injured or if any arrests have been made. Neighbors weren’t sure what led up to the shooting. Onalaska Police say they will release more details tomorrow.

BIRON, Wis. (WKBT) -- Wood County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 25-year-old Wisconsin Rapids man after they say he crossed the centerline of South Biron Drive while operating under the influence and killed a 28-year-old man on a motorcycle. According to a release from the Wood County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened near Strawberry Lane in the Township of Biron around 11:50 p.m. Saturday, August 31st.

ALMA, Wis. (WKBT) -- Alcohol is suspected in a three-vehicle crash that sent two people to the hospital in Alma, Wisconsin. According to a release from the Buffalo County Sheriff's Department, the crash happened on State Highway 35 north of Beach Harbor Road in the City of Alma around 3:36 p.m. Saturday, August 31st. Investigators say 50-year-old Jeremy Hulberg of Durand was traveling southbound on State Highway 35 when he rear-ended 67-year-old Keith Koenig of Alma.

ONALASKA, Wis, (WKBT) -- An early morning fire on County Road ZZ forced residents out of their home in Onalaska. The City of Onalaska Fire Department reports they got the call shortly after 3 a.m. Saturday morning. The fire did not spread far and firefighters were able to extinguish it quickly.
