It's not often lifelong golfers are able to enjoy brand new experiences at the age of 56. That's the situation Belfair's Mark Knowles will find himself in next week. Knowles is preparing for the biggest tournament of his life: the U.S. Senior Open at The Broadmoor (East Course) in Colorado Springs, held June 26-29. The East Bremerton school will move to a temporary home for 18 months while a permanent campus is rebuilt on-site. BREMERTON — Armin Jahr Elementary School's Julie Fairall isn't ready to say so long to the home of the Orcas just yet. The first-year principal left such salutations to some of the visitors who made their way to 800 Dibb Street for Wednesday's farewell celebration of the 57-year-old school set for demolition later this year. "We still have two weeks of school," Fairall said.
