WHAT IS THE PROPOSED AMENDMENT:Issue 2 is a vote to raise the amount of debt the State of Ohio is allowed to take on in order to continue to allow local municipalities to receive funding for infrastructure projects without raising local taxes.

AKRON, Ohio (WOIO) - The Akron Public Schools superintendent resigned late Monday evening and school board members approved a $200,000 settlement. Dr. Michael Robinson was still owed $900,000 in his contract and board members voted in favor of the settlement to avoid a costly legal battle. Earlier this month, Dr. Robinson was placed on paid administrative leave following an investigation into allegations of bullying and intimidation.
