The man received the three-year ban after admitting being in possession of cocaine while at Southend United’s football ground as an away supporter.

Major junction - Fortune of War (Image: File photo) DRIVERS are facing severe delays at a major junction in south Essex due to emergency works. One lane is closed on the A127 Southend-bound, after the Fortune of War, due to emergency roadworks being carried out by UK Power Network, as well as grass cutting taking place. There are currently severe delays back to Halfway House and severe congestion around Laindon and Dunton.

The major road is partially blocked, with traffic queueing due to an "obstruction" on the road, according to AA. Essex County Council's traffic control shows the road is blocked due to the incident at Progress Road.
