A raft of coffee shops across Ireland have signed up for ‘Coffee for Palestine’ for the second year in a row. The fundraiser is set to run from June 23 to 29 and will see over 150 coffee shops taking part. The event was a certified success last year, with over €50,000 raised during the first campaign. In a bid to beat their donations in 2024, the event has invited more cafes and restaurants across Ireland to join.

Gardai in Clare have seized three cars over the weekend with all drivers set to face court. The roads policing unit was on patrol in Ennis on Saturday night, June 21 when they stopped three separate vehicles for being uninsured.
