CHEBOYGAN — Army National Guard veteran Charles “Chuck” Kuznicki was recently named Cheboygan County's Hometown Hero for the month of May. Kuznicki served in the Army National Guard for seven years. According to the Cheboygan County Veterans Subcommittee, Kuznicki has coached for the Michigan Special Olympics for over 16 years. He also helps to fundraise for the organization, including coordinating the annual Polar Plunge, and transports athletes to events.
