Petoskey News-Review

The Petoskey News-Review serves as the daily newspaper for Petoskey, Michigan. It originally launched in 1878 under the name Petoskey City Record. Following a series of mergers, it was renamed The Petoskey Evening News. In 1953, it combined with The Northern Michigan Review to form the Petoskey News-Review. In 2006, Schurz Communications from South Bend, Indiana, acquired the publication along with its sister papers. Later, in 2019, it was sold to GateHouse Media. The newspaper is published five days a week.

    MACKINAW TWP. — An Upper Peninsula man died after his vehicle overturned on I-75 early Tuesday morning in Mackinaw Township. The Cheboygan County Sheriff's Department said Bruce Cheshire, 56, from Gulliver was driving his 2006 Dodge Ram pickup northbound on I-75 at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday, April 15 when it exited the roadway to the right.
