(KVRR-KFGO) – The former head coach of the University of North Dakota women’s soccer team has filed a federal lawsuit against the university, claiming it retaliated against him and violated the state’s Whistleblower Act. Chris Logan was the team’s head coach from December 2016 until last November when his contract was not renewed. According to the university’s website, Logan led the team to its first Summit League Tournament appearance and first 10-win season since 2006.

    FARGO (KVRR-KFGO) – The Highway Patrol has released the names of the people involved in a south Fargo crash between a motorcycle and car Friday night, and Clay County Sheriff Mark Empting confirmed the motorcyclist is an employee of his department. Avery Quiner, 20 of Moorhead, suffered serious injuries when his motorcycle crashed into a car at the intersection of 31st Street and 52nd Avenue S.

    MOORHEAD, Minn. (KVRR) – Moorhead police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with a fatal shooting on Sunday, April 13. Police say 35-year-old Jerome Anthony Thomas III should be considered armed and dangerous. Formal charges to include homicide and attempted homicide are being requested through the Clay County Attorney’s Office. Moorhead Police Department responded to the 2700 block of 14th Street South at around 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
