HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - After a Coastal Carolina three run homer that made it 4-0, Marshall used the long ball to come back and win on Friday night 6-4. In the bottom of the third, Abby Darnley hit one that made it 4-1. Then in the fifth inning, Haleigh Adkins cut the lead in half with one swing. One inning later, Reilly Lucas and Adkins smashed softballs out of Dot Hicks Field as the Herd improves to 24-20 overall and 10-7 in the Sun Belt.

HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WSAZ) - A 19-13 regular season with four wins over top 25 teams wasn’t good enough for the NCAA Tournament committee when it came to the West Virginia Mountaineers.
