The encouragement comes in the form of door hangers that list the various property code violations like overgrown vegetation, dilapidated structures and health hazards. Whichever the property violates will be checked before placed on the door.

(WCHS) — Hundreds of people are now coming forward who believe they had unnecessary hernia repair surgeries during planned bariatric surgeries at Charleston Area Medical Center, some even without permission.     MONTGOMERY, W.Va. (WCHS) — The City of Montgomery just hit a milestone in its mission to tear down dilapidated structures. With the demolition of the old Fraternal Order of Eagles building at the corner of Ferry Street and Fourth Avenue, Montgomery Mayor Greg Ingram said that completes the dilapidated structures list, for now, in the city. When Ingram took office 9 years ago, he said they went around and put 38 commercial buildings and homes on the list and all have now been torn down.

(WCHS) — After ten days and 3,000 miles on motorcycles, the 1,200 riders participating in this year's Run for the Wall made it to Washington D.C. and the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on Saturday morning. The cross-country motorcycle ride takes riders from California to Washington D.C. as a way to raise awareness and honor the fallen soldiers, the veterans and those still missing.
