    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) An on-going project to improve a bridge over the St. Marys River in Fort Wayne will require its closure for a day later this week. The Bluffton Road bridge will be closed Thursday, May 8. It will open back up to traffic on Friday, May 9. The closure is part of a month’s long project that isn’t expected to be completed until sometime next year.

The national average is down 12.0 cents from a month ago and is 49.6 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.

    HUNTINGTON COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) A bridge construction project is set to start Monday, May 5 on I-69 in Huntington County that will require alternating lane closures. Crews will be working in the northbound lanes of I-69 over State Road 5/State Road 218 at Exit 273. Work is expected to be complete by the end of May. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change. During construction, crews will be working in one lane of the interstate at a time.
