CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Chicago Fire have unveiled renderings of a proposed stadium in the South Loop. The team shared plans during a virtual town hall hosted by Third Ward Alderman Pat Dowell. She had said she was surprised earlier this month when the team announced the stadium would anchor the new development called "The 78" along the Chicago River. The Fire says the stadium will fit around 22,000 fans and was designed by Gensler in "Chicago School" fashion.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Archdiocese of Chicago has been trying to sell St. Adalbert's Church since closing it in 2019. They say they now have a buyer who will preserve the historic church, but not the other church buildings. That has those who want to preserve the church worried. The beautiful historic church building is well over a century old.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Tenants were given a two-day notice that they had to find somewhere else to live after an apartment building on Chicago's South Side was deemed unsafe. Dozens of tenants were notified they had to be out by Wednesday. Some of them told ABC7 they have nowhere else to go. Many of the people who live in the apartment building in the 6100-block of South King Drive said they've been there many years and they have paid rent.

SOUTH BARRINGTON, Ill. (WLS) -- Thieves stole over $1 million dollars worth of jewelry from a suburban store last month. The store owner is now offering a reward to recover the lost inventory. South Barrington police said they cut a hole in the wall and the back of the safe to get inside. The thieves even cut the power to the building so the surveillance cameras stopped working. Police believe the crime happened late at night on Mother's Day when few people were around.

It's a test used for college admission. That number is the most the Chicago public school has ever seen. Less than 1 percent of test takers get a perfect score.
