THE funeral is to take place this Saturday of a young Irish nurse who died suddenly on holidays in Australia. Louth Gaelic Football and Camogie player Marie Claire Rogers, 24, took ill while visiting her sister Heather in Sydney over a week ago. She passed away three days after being admitted to hospital from a short illness. Her body is due to arrive back in Ireland this Wednesday. Her funeral mass will take place at her local Saint Colmcille's Church, Togher, Co Louth at 12 noon on Saturday.
