DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)– Rain chances are slowly going to go down across the Wiregrass, but the heat is on. Heat indices are expected to reach over 100 degrees over the next week as dew points will be well into the 70s. This could also cause some fog in the morning hours, but that will quickly dissipate as we warm up throughout the day. Tonight, low temperatures will be around 73 degrees, and rain chances are going to be fairly low.

DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)– We saw more rain across the region today but that should become less widespread over the next few days. Although some storms provided some beneficial rain to the region, high-pressure will slide east and bring warmer temperatures and even heat indicies into the low 100s. Low temperatures are expected to be around 73-75 degrees but by the end of the week highs will be in the mid 90s. Tomorrow, rain chances do go down to around 30-40%, and high temps are around 92 degrees.

DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)– After a long rainy period across the Wiregrass, there are some signs that we could see the possibility of a brief dry period. Even though it will not mean that all rain will cease across the region, a more isolated presentation of rain will be more likely. This will cause temperatures to rise as we are forecasted to be in the 90s all week. The good news is tonight, we are expecting lows to be in the low to mid 70s with rain chances near zero precent.

DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)– Showers and thunderstorms have been going on almost every single day across the Tri-state region. This is due to very hot and humid conditions, providing ample moisture for thunderstorms to develop. Lows tonight will continue to remain in the low to mid 70s and patchy fog could be a problem once again in the morning. High temperatures will be in the low 90s before showers and thunderstorms begin to move across the area.

DOTHAN, ALA. (WDHN)– We will not see much change across the Wiregrass over the next couple of days, as we have been locked in this summertime pattern with afternoon showers and thunderstorms every single day. The good news is that our severe weather threat has continued to decrease over the week as regular showers and thunderstorms remain expected. Lows tonight will be in the 70s once again, and highs in the upper 80s to low 90s before rain comes in.
