Pedestrian hit by car while walking to schoolSchool district and Savannah Police Department (SPD) officials confirmed that around 7:24 a.m. Monday, a vehicle struck a 17-year-old Savannah High School student as he walked to school. The incident occurred just off campus at Elgin Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.
