Saint Francis finished the 2024 season with 33 forced turnovers, ranking third in NAIA in that category. Sunday at the USF spring game, the Cougars’ defense picked up right where it left off. As president of the Fort Wayne Golf Association, Brian Straley has overseen the merging of the women’s and senior associations under one umbrella. With the senior FWGA merger happening last year, Straley looks to ride that momentum toward a monumental weekend in early August, when Sycamore Hills will play host to the 100th FWGA City Championship on Aug. 2-4. “We always said that we wanted to blend everything into one for Fort Wayne golf,” Straley said.

Featuring multiple design elements not seen previously, Fort Wayne FC released its home jersey for the 2025 season in a video on social media Thursday afternoon. The video, featuring defenders Reid Sproat and Tiago Dias, was produced in partnership with RemedyLIVE, a local nonprofit that uses technology to create meaningful conversations about mental health in businesses, organizations, and schools.
