    Yes, that was an earthquake you may have felt this morning in Malibu. At 9:33 this morning shaking was felt along the coast when a 3.2 earthquake struck Malibu. According to the USGS the temblor was centered at“Malibu Beach” at a depth of 12km. Malibu residents quickly reported online that they felt moderate shaking just after 9:30 a.m. This is the latest in a swarm of moderate earthquake activity to hit the Malibu area.

    Longtime Malibu resident David Duchovny has listed his Point Dume home for sale. The asking price is $12.5 million. The one-acre estate includes an unusual feature, a train caboose car. The actor/writer personally renovated an old caboose that he turned into a guest house complete with a kitchen, living room, sleeping area, and bathroom. The 64-year-old, originally from New York, bought the property that included the caboose in 2016 for $4.75 million.

Their housing, known as Calamigos Living, is about to undergo “needed” renovations after ten years, according to management. The handful of private houses and cottages on the Calamigos property have been strictly used for Pepperdine students for the last decade.
