Cuomo was the top choice for roughly 40% of likely Democratic primary voters, including those who are undecided. His nearest opponent is Queens Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani, coming in with 18% support.

MORRISANIA, The Bronx (PIX11) – Police are searching for a 14-year-old boy after a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed on a Bronx playground on Monday, according to the NYPD. Police said a fight between young people broke out near the I.S. 158 campus around 5 p.m. One person was seen passing a pistol to another, who would then fire three rounds, according to authorities. Police said Evette Jeffrey was then shot once in the head as she was leaving the playground on a scooter.

MORNINGSIDE HEIGHTS, Manhattan (PIX11) – At least 80 pro-Palestinian protesters were taken into custody at Columbia University’s main library on Wednesday, according to the NYPD. School officials claimed that the protesters, some who were not students, burst into Butler Library while chanting “Free Palestine.” The protesters are accused of destroying property and refusing to leave as students were studying for final exams, officials said.
