The Instilling Goodness and Developing Virtue girls school at the City of Ten Thousand Buddhas in Talmage recently received full accreditation for its K-12 instruction, school officials reported. “We’re proud to announce that IGDVS has received full K-12 accreditation for six years; this marks the first accreditation for K-8, and reaccreditation for 9-12,” IGDVS Principal Jin Jr Jr. Shi announced.

City of Ukiah officials were joined by representatives of the Pinoleville Pomo Nation this week for a ceremonial ground-breaking of construction on a new Mendocino County Courthouse behind the Railroad Depot on East Perkins Street. According to the Judicial Council of California, the $144.924 million project was put on hold in 2016, then “reactivated utilizing a new delivery method” in Fiscal Year 2021-22.

The movies I saw in April were a very mixed bag, with the first being pretty dang perfect, the second pretty disappointing, and the third pretty much a complete waste of time. The pretty dang perfect one was Sinners, starring Michael B.
