    MEBANE, N.C. (WGHP) — A teenager has been arrested after a shooting that left one person dead, according to Mebane police. Tevion Edmonds, 19, of Mebane, is charged with first-degree murder. He is being held without bond. Edmonds’ arrest is in connection with a shooting that happened on Friday night. Around 6:50 p.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of Bateman Place. Police found a victim, whom the suspect reportedly knew. Police have not released the victim’s name.

    MOCKSVILLE, N.C. (WGHP) — Two people are dead and one is injured after a plane crashed in the Piedmont Triad on Tuesday, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. At about noon on Tuesday, the FAA confirmed that a Stinson 108 Voyager plane crashed at Sugar Valley Airport in Mocksville, located on Gilbert Road. This is an older model single-engine aircraft. Three people were reportedly on board.
