Wilton Library to hold ice cream social The Wilton Library is hosting an old-fashioned ice cream social on Saturday, June 7, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. in its parking lot. All members of the Wilton community are invited to attend as College Creamery once again gives out free ice cream bars and snow cones, while supplies last. Attendees can enjoy live music provided by trustees Matt Greene and Friends, weather permitting.

DANBURY - The city of Danbury kept up its Memorial Day tradition as marchers stepped off in a downtown parade along Main Street on Monday morning. The Danbury Police Department's honor guard led the hundreds of marchers in the annual parade. It also included military veterans, local and state dignitaries, civic groups, marching bands from across the region, fire trucks, service groups, Scouts and more. Participants marched down Main Street from about Rose Street to the War Memorial at Rogers Park.
