2 1/1 Shoppers can now enjoy quicker shopping when buying clothing and accessories from one of Cornwall's popular high street stores. Primark launched its new Click & Collect service at its Truro store on Lemon Quay on Tuesday, April 16. The Truro store is now one of approximately 150 Primark locations across the UK offering the service. The retailer plans to extend Click & Collect to all 187 stores in England, Scotland, and Wales by this summer.

Tara Trethowan of The Bridal Studio on Coinagehall Street in Helston has helped hundreds of brides choose their dream wedding dresses, supported Midday dancers with their dresses and hats on Flora Day, and assisted school leavers with their prom dresses for the last ten years.

Charlestown Harbour UNESCO world heritage site is once again welcoming visitors without charge due to the lock gate project, which is set to conclude later this summer. The harbour is conducting an extensive regeneration project to reinstate the lock gate, costing more than £2m.

The Porthleven Road, which typically sees thousands of pedestrians heading towards the fair at the Fairground Car Park, has traditionally been closed for the annual celebration.
