UNION, N.J. (PIX11) — Four-year-old Dylan Ramirez of Union, New Jersey, is making a name for himself as a budding young entrepreneur. Dressed as a cowboy and dubbed ‘Cowboy Dylan,’ Ramirez sells candy in his local park to help learn the value of money and raise funds for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. “I like to work,” said Ramirez. Ramirez’s mom, Sasha Lazo, said she came up with the idea as a way to teach him how to manage money.

Newark mayor files federal lawsuit over arrest at ICE facility NEW JERSEY (PIX11) – Newark Mayor Ras Baraka is suing Alina Habba, claiming she and a Homeland Security official “orchestrated” his “false” arrest at an ICE facility in May, according to his lawyer. Baraka was arrested on May 9 outside Delaney Hall Detention Center.

NEWARK, N.J. (PIX11) — A runway that was undergoing renovations reopened Monday at Newark Liberty International Airport, 13 days ahead of schedule. By June 15, transportation officials said the new runway will allow EWR to accommodate a dozen more flights an hour. Currently, the airport can handle 56 flights per hour. That number is expected to increase to 68. At maximum capacity, EWR can handle about 77 arrivals and departures per hour.

The cash drops began in late March. The TikTok videos show $20, $50, and even $100 bills stuck to the back of duct tape, and then posted on poles and signs across the state. The first person to identify and find the money gets to claim it.
