    NEW YORK (PIX11) – Six people died after a helicopter crashed in the Hudson River near Jersey City Thursday afternoon, a source said. The helicopter crash was reported on the New Jersey side of the Hudson River around 3:15 p.m., according to the FDNY. A Bell 206 helicopter crashed and became submerged in the water, according to the Federal Aviation Administration. NYPD and FDNY crews are conducting a rescue operation, officials said.
