SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — Parts of Sioux Falls are looking more colorful. That’s because the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation has been planting lots of flowers. Wednesday was planting day at Tuthill Park. Rescue on Missouri River in Yankton Debbie Fuller watched the progress and snapped some photos as flowers were placed in the ground.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — A student organization at a Sioux Falls high school is seeing success in its first few years. Sophomore Emily Lowrey joined Lincoln’s FCCLA chapter as a freshman after wanting to get involved in clubs at school. “At Lincoln, FCCLA is one of those only clubs that really focuses on the family aspect,” Lowrey said. Those five letters stand for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America.

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — An organization that helps families with kids receiving hospital care in Sioux Falls just cut the ribbon on its new garden Monday. The garden is located at the Ronald McDonald House near Sanford Hospital. Dry, hot and windy weather impacting trees Supporters of the Ronald McDonald House put their green thumbs to use Monday by planting the garden beds. From peppers to watermelons, the garden will eventually be full of fresh produce ready to be picked.
