DENVER, CO (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers clubbed three home runs in a series-opening 7-1 win over the Colorado Rockies in Denver on Tuesday night. Brice Turang, Christian Yelich and William Contreras all homered in the seventh inning for Milwaukee in the victory. Freddy Peralta earned the win, allowing a run and striking out six batters in five innings. Brenton Doyle hit a solo shot, accounting for Colorado’s lone run in the loss. The Rockies dropped to 2-8.

BRONX, NY (WHBL) – The New York Yankees took down the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 on Opening Day from the Bronx. Freddy Peralta suffered the loss despite striking out eight batters over five innings. Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe homered for New York while Carlos Rodon earned the win after giving up one run over five-plus innings. Milwaukee continues the three-game series Saturday afternoon.

MINNEAPOLIS, MN (WHBL) – The Minnesota Gophers gave number-12 Wisconsin a scare but ultimately lost to the Badgers 74-67 at Williams Arena on Wednesday night. Minnesota was within three with three-and-a-half minutes to play before Wisconsin pulled away. John Blackwell led the Badgers in scoring with 25 points and grabbed 11 rebounds for a double-double. John Tonje added 18 points as the Badgers have won two-of-three and improved to 23-7.

(WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers fell to Number-8 Michigan State 71-62 from Breslin Center on Sunday afternoon. John Blackwell led Wisconsin with 19 points. Nolan Winter grabbed a game-high 17 rebounds to go with nine points as the 12th-ranked Badgers have lost two-of-three and slipped to 22-7. Jaden Akins netted 19 points to lead the eighth-ranked Spartans, while Jaxon Kohler had 10 points and a career-high 16 rebounds.

MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks put together a dominant fourth quarter en route to a 116-110 win over the LA Clippers at the Fiserv Forum on Thursday night. The Bucks outscored the Clippers 36-21 in the final frame to pick up the win in a return from the All-Star break for both teams. Giannis Antetokounmpo led the way with 23 points and eight rebounds. Brook Lopez chipped in 22 points and also had four blocks. The Bucks have won three of four to sit at 30-24.

MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks got crushed by the Golden State Warriors 125-111 from Fiserv Forum on Monday night. Damian Lillard tied for a game-high 38 points but committed 10 turnovers. Newcomer Kyle Kuzma finished with 21 points as Milwaukee has lost two of its last three games and dropped to 28-24 on the season. Stephen Curry led Golden State with a team-high 38 points and shot 50-percent from the field.

MADISON, WI (WHBL) – The Wisconsin Badgers beat Indiana 76-64 from the Kohl Center on Tuesday night – the 21st straight time the Badgers have beaten the Hoosiers in Madison. John Tonje tied for a game-high 15 points and grabbed five rebounds to lead Wisconsin. Max Klesmit added 13 points and dished out six assists as the Badgers have won back-to-back games and improved to 18-5 overall, 8-4 in the Big Ten. Indiana was led by Mackenzie Mgbako, who finished with 15 points. Luke Goode added 11.

PORTLAND, OR (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks got blown out by the Trail Blazers 125-112 from Portland on Tuesday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo led all scorers with 39 points and grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double. Damian Lillard added 20 points and dished out six assists as Milwaukee has lost two-of-three games and dropped to 26-19. Deni Avdija led the Blazers, scoring 30 points to go along with nine rebounds in the victory. Anfernee Simons chipped in 25 points and a team-high seven assists.

SALT LAKE CITY, UT (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Bucks blew out the Utah Jazz 125-110 from Salt Lake City on Monday night. Giannis Antetokounmpo tied for a game-high 35 points and grabbed 18 rebounds for a double-double. Damian Lillard also had 35 points and dished out eight assists as Milwaukee has won six-of-seven and improved to 26-18. The Jazz struggled defensively, allowing the Bucks to shoot 60.5-percent from the field in the defeat.

Giannis Antetokounmpo recorded a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds as Milwaukee has won back-to-back games and improved to 22-17. Paolo Banchero led Orlando with a team-high 22 points in addition to five rebounds in the loss. Orlando shot just 34.7 percent from the field and 26.1 percent from three point range.
