Cardinals ownership and broadcasters took time to remember and reflect on their former GM Walt Jocketty’s passing earlier Saturday at the age of 74. Jocketty had been battling serious health issues recently. Cardinals ownership revealed that Jocketty, the team’s general manager from 1994-2007 was to be inducted into the Cardinals Hall of Fame later this season. That will still happen with Jocketty’s son accepting the honor for his late father.

A former college football player, Solomon once weighed 421 pounds. At his heaviest, running was unfeasible. But through consistent diet and exercise, he dropped 175 pounds.
