Baseball fans in Wisconsin got an opportunity to celebrate a rare doubleheader Friday when the top two plays on ESPN’s daily Top 10 plays both featured amazing catches by players in Wisconsin. No. 2 came from the WIAA state baseball tournament during the Division 2 title game between Seymour and New Berlin Eisenhower. Seymour junior left-hander Carson Staffeldt delivered to left-handed New Berlin Eisenhower DH Alex Michna, who ripped a line drive back at Staffeldt.

Annemarie Hickey's long run with the University of Wisconsin volleyball program ended, but she won't have to travel far for her new job. Hickey, who played for the Badgers before becoming an assistant coach, recently accepted an assistant coaching job with LOVB Madison. "This program has shown me the power of being surrounded by genuine people who challenge you, support you and share the same drive and values," Hickey said in a release.
