PONTOTOC COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) A silver alert has been issued for a missing man out of Pontotoc County. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has activated the silver alert notification on behalf of the Pontotoc County Sheriff’s Office. Marvin Jeffery Jaggers, from Pontotoc County, was last seen on Saturday, May 10, around 11:00 am in the 3000 block of Jaggers Road in Pontotoc County. He was walking in an unknown direction.

LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) 4 County crews were picking up and cleaning up downed power lines at Slip and Dip waterpark in New Hope after high wind and heavy rain on Tuesday night, caused a power outage. “The storms rolled through at about three this morning with some wind damage.” said Brian Clark, CEO of 4 County Power Electric Association.

STARKVILLE, Miss (WCBI) – A Mississippi State University fraternity is giving back to children at St. Jude Hospital. The Eta Upsilon chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity hosted the second annual “Krawfish for a Kause” fundraiser event. This fundraiser brought together faculty, alumni, and community members for an all-you-can-eat crawfish boil and live entertainment. All of the proceeds from this event benefited the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

CARROLL COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Carroll County Sheriff, Clint Walker, is asking for the public’s help in finding Reginald Small. Small is wanted for felony warrants out of Winona. Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Mississippi Highway Patrol spotted Small on I-55 one morning. He got off at the Vaiden exit and traveled south on 51. LOWNDES COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Lowndes County Deputies are searching for an armed robbery suspect in the New Hope Community. Detectives are searching for a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Family Dollar Store in New Hope. The incident happened on Saturday night around 10:33 p.m., when a male suspect entered the store, on 2910 Tabernacle Road, and brandished a handgun at an employee.

TISHOMINGO COUNTY, Miss. (WCBI) – The Tishomingo County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a stolen dump trailer. After further investigation, Tanner Jordan Holloway was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny. The dump trailer was recovered and returned back to the owner. Culberson was one of the people who attended an AI workshop at the Oktibbeha County Extension Center. The Workshop taught people about machine learning and AI concepts, and it gave them the chance to do hands-on activities to see how AI works.
