(PIX11) – The Mount Sinai Beth Israel Hospital in Manhattan is set to start closing on Wednesday following an appeals court decision. The ruling, made on Tuesday, cleared the way for the hospital to shut down for good. The hospital originally planned to close back in July 2024, but stayed open during a legal battle with the Community Coalition to Save Beth Israel Hospital.
