    FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) – The Central Noble School district called on the community to help vote for an operating referendum, which would bring about a property tax increase. The district has seen an enrollment decline and has been operating under state funding that hasn’t kept up with inflation in recent years. This is the district's first time proposing a referendum. Hundreds of parents, grandparents, and even staff placed their votes in at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

The lives are being remembered through a flowering tree that represents life continuously blossoming and withering with each season. Angie Chalk is a nurse manager at Lutheran and says her own team lost 3 nurses in three months more than a year ago.
