GALVESTONAn investment firm based in The Woodlands has acquired the mid-century Commodore on the Beach hotel with plans to reopen the iconic island property before Mardi Gras, parties confirmed Tuesday. Good Bull Investments acquired the 92-room hotel, 3618 Seawall Blvd., in an equity purchase from JMK5 Holdings, of which Friendswood developer and attorney Jerome Karam is a principal, company representatives said.
