People watching the musical Kimberly Akimbo at the Keller Auditorium on Friday were evacuated mid-show after an audience member spilled a beer on an electrical outlet, according to Portland Fire & Rescue. The spill caused sparks and smoke, leading to a full evacuation as fire crews checked for further damage. “The issue was isolated to one outlet and the power was turned off to the outlet removing any hazard,” said Lt. Damon Simmons, a fire bureau spokesperson.
