I've been thinking about monkeys lately. Strange, right? But stay with me for a moment. Humour me in trying a social experiment. Go and ask a sample of people in your team or organisation this question: Did anyone ever teach you HOW to learn? The majority of people you ask will say NO, but for the small percentage who might say yes, ask them this follow up question: Did anyone ever teach you about your brain? The importance of a fully optimised LinkedIn profile cannot be overstated. You work tirelessly to help others in their careers but need to make sure that your own doesn't take a back seat. There are so many people vying for employment these days and merely having a LinkedIn profile is not enough. Not only must it be fully optimised, but you also need to actively engage with your network if you want to be recognised as an L&D thought leader of true worth.
