In an event space near Gas Works Park on a Saturday night, about a hundred people hit the dance floor in suits and dresses, getting cheesy prom portraits taken with corsages on their wrists. But this wasn’t a typical prom. No one was awkwardly asking their date if they wanted to dance. There was no prom king or queen. And nobody got in trouble for spiking the punch bowl; as many high schoolers have likely wished for, this prom had a bar. That’s because the attendees were adults, not teenagers.
